WYCK EDUCATION PLACE & VISITOR FACILITIES

PHILADELPHIA, PA COMPLETED 2003

This project comprises the planning and design of a new Education Place and accessible Visitor Facilities in a sensitive historic setting, Wyck, a House Museum and Garden in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

The Education Place provides a flexible environment for activities that communicate the nature of Quaker family life to school groups and the community, and a meeting place for Wyck committees and community groups.

The toilet buildings discreetly provide a much-needed amenity proximate to both the Education Place and the original Main House, where all tours will continue to originate upon arrival through the Germantown Avenue gate onto the brick-paved south walk.
